How many times has it happened to you? You sit down to watch a dvd, and either the dvd you want to watch or the remote for the dvd player is missing. Your child sits down to play a video game, and either the game or the controller that is needed have disappeared. You are watching your favorite television show, and the channel suddenly changes because the remote is lying under the couch cushion that you are sitting on. Your television, stereo, and game systems can be placed on the unit, and storage compartments in the unit will enable you to store dvds, cds, video games, controllers, and remotes.

My wife and I recently spent a fortune updating our house. I wouldn’t say we gutted it, but we came pretty darn close. To me, the best part about the whole experience was setting up a room that we’re going to use just for home theater stuff. Problem is, we spent so much on the remodel that I have basically next to nothing left to equip it. I’ve seen a few things here and there that say a refurbished LCD TV can be the way to go — and I’ve actually found a pretty amazing deal on one. Anybody out there have any experience with these things? Care to share some tips?
