Tivo to DVD?

Monday, November 26th, 2007

I really need to find software that can burn tivo to dvd. I have way too many permantly saved programs on my Tivo that are taking up valuable recording space. I need to move them to dvd and free up that space. I want to find software that makes this easy-to-do or maybe buy a DVD recorder and hook it up to my Tivo?

Video Post Card Software

Monday, November 19th, 2007

I’ve been looking around for some software to make video postcards. You know, the kind that you can download from sites like Halmark.

I just want to use my own videos for the postcards and have the ability to send them to family and friends. So far, the most promising software I’ve found is VideoSuite from Movavi.

I think I will probably download a free trial version and test it out. It certainly appears to be capable of doing what I’m wanting it to do.

Cat 5 cable wiring is becoming a popular accessory.

Sunday, November 18th, 2007

Since many celebrities have been spotted on television, wearing cat 5 jewelry, many teeneagers have been spotted buying spools of the computer cable. Several actors and band members have been sporting the jewelry recently. After the lead singer of the band Nickelback was featured on Entertainment Tonight, wearing a bracelet made of cat 5 cable wiring, Radio Shack reported that they cannot stock their shelves quick enough. Teenagers are buying the cable, resulting in the shelves being empty when someone comes in to the store to purchase wiring for their computer-related needs.

Sometimes it helps to visualize techniques instead of just reading about them. Like if you want to learn more about
Video Borescope Techniques head online and check out video clips to see step by step how to setup and use the equipment. Often you get text guidelines, too, to follow along with, so print them out, watch your video and - win-win, you got it!

Where to Find Accessories for Your iPod

Monday, November 12th, 2007

I’ve finally come around to the good side and bought myself an iPod. It took me a while to finally buy one, but I got it done.

Now that I’ve got the iPod, I want to get some accessories for iPod. Searching for a good place to buy them is now my goal.

My friends told me to look at the Apple Store…which seems a bit overpriced. I’m curious about how they compare to other places.

How to Move Music from iPod to Computer

Friday, November 2nd, 2007

I’m in a bind and I’m not sure what to do. I lost all my PC files recently when my computer crashed.

Luckily for me, a lot of my documents were backed up. Like an idiot though, I didn’t back up my music collection (including iTunes!).

I’ve easily spent over a grand on music and TV shows that were in my iTunes library.

The good news is most of it is still on my iPod. The challenge though is how to move them to my new iTunes. You may or may not know that iTunes will not sync to an iPod.

Now I’m looking for a good ipod to pc transfer software.
